Job Summary

Patanjali Yogpeeth Critical Care Centre, Haridwar is seeking for a highly skilled and compassionate Neurologist to join our team and provide exceptional healthcare to our patients. He or She must be armed with a MBBS, MD or MBBS, MS (Neurology). The ideal candidate will utilize his or her extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and the central nervous system to diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nervous system. • Diagnoses and treats disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nerves.
• Treat conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease, among others.
• Evaluate patients with neurological symptoms and offering a comprehensive care, including prescribing medications, recommending therapies or lifestyle modifications and coordination with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcome.
• Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effect of the treatment and the medication.
• Ability to accurately interpret clinical examinations, laboratory tests and diagnostic images to detect conditions ranging from strokes and migraines and neurodegenerative diseases.
• Order supportive care services for patients.
• Participate in neuroscience research activities.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices.
• High standard of ethical and moral conduct.

Educational experience and requirements:

• Armed with either MBBS, MD OR MBBS, MS from reputable institutions in India or outside India.
• 3 – 4 years’ experience OR 5 – 10 years’ experience and specialty training in an accredited neurology residency program (essential).
• Professional counseling and listening skills.
• Advanced organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent decision-making skills and communication.
• Outstanding practical and diagnostic skills.
