Job Summary for Data and IT Manager

The Data & IT Manager will be responsible for managing project data, MIS, digital systems, reporting and IT-related activities. The position will support effective data-driven monitoring of FPOs, ensure data accuracy and timely reporting and provide technical assistance to the project team.

  • Project: Strengthening FPOs in Uttarakhand through Market Linkage, Training & Capacity Building, Credit Access, and Hand-Holding Support sanctioned by NABARD, Govt. of India
  • Number of Positions: 01
  • Project Duration: 28 months
  • Remuneration: ₹70,000/- per month
Educational and Experience Requirements:
  • MCA / B.Tech in Computer Science from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in data management, MIS, IT support, data analysis or project-based IT operations.
  • Experience in government, development-sector, agriculture, FPO, livelihood or rural development projects will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Google Workspace, data management and MIS tools.
  • Knowledge of databases, data visualization and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain and regularly update project MIS and databases related to FPOs, beneficiaries, training, market linkages, credit access and project activities.
  • Collect, validate, organize and analyze data received from field teams and ensure accuracy, completeness and timely reporting.
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports, dashboards, progress reports and data summaries for project management and NABARD-related reporting.
  • Provide IT and technical support to project staff, including troubleshooting of hardware, software, internet and digital applications.
  • Develop and maintain digital data collection systems, online forms, trackers and reporting formats for field-level monitoring.
  • Monitor project indicators and generate data-driven insights to support decision-making, performance tracking and FPO hand-holding activities.
  • Ensure proper data security, backup, documentation and confidentiality of project information.
